WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR???

COME ON OVER TO RAVE REVIEWS BOOK CLUB

I have been a proud member of Rave Reviews Book Club almost since its inception. The experience has been nothing but positive considering I was just about to leave the literary world after going it alone for too long as we Indie Authors tend to do. I served on the board as the Newsletter Co-ordinator for RRBC. I served as a Co-Leader for the Tweet Support Team Program. And I’ve served in various capacities to support where and whenever I can. My support of this organization has been equally matched by its support of me. That’s how it works. You give and you get back.

Doesn’t this photo tug at your heart? A dog seeking warmth and shelter in a manger — finds it! It sums up who we are!!

ANativit

You can find it too–right here at Rave Reviews Book Club. IT’S LIKE COMING HOME!!!
There are perks and then there are perks: #PUSHTUESDAY, SPOTLIGHT AUTHOR, BOOK OF THE MONTH, WRITING CONTESTS, MEMBER OF THE MONTH; RAVE WAVES BLOG TALK RADIO, BETHANY TURNER PAY IT FORWARD; and just attention and interaction from other Indie Authors. And you discover so many wonderful books to read and enjoy. It has definitely re-ignited my desire to read.

And I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the Weekly Club Updates which are brought to you to keep you connected each week to what goes on at Rave Reviews Book Club. Any and all information you ever want to know can be found on the RAVE REVIEWS BOOK CLUB Website.

But the “Icing on the Cake” is seeing your book sales shoot up, your book reviews increase in numbers, and your rank going down. Now that’s the bottom line isn’t it?

Again I cannot stress enough the support I have received in promoting my book since I joined. I got featured “On the Shelf” and was the Tenth Spotlight Author which was absolutely AWESOME!!! My first book, Our Lady of Victory was the featured Book of the Month for December 2014. It was really awesome!

You can have the same support and attention yourself. Just click here to learn more.

This club is for people who want to support and interact with other authors. The mission is to Support, Promote and Propel our members to unimaginable heights! Be a part of it!

About Shirley Harris-Slaughter

I love old buildings and history. That's why I ended up writing about the history that surrounded me all of my life - "Our Lady of Victory, the Saga of an African-American Catholic Community." Plus our church had closed and the school is torn down, so I felt it was imperative that we preserve the history or it would be lost forever.

By the way, I was trying to find an excuse to share this great photo of the German Shepherd lying in a manger trying to keep warm. Bringing it here was perfect I thought. It started circulating around Christmastime and was just so ironic and appropriate. It makes a great conversation piece. ENJOY!

I was at the eye doctor today and couldn’t see very well for a few hours. It was nice to come back and see you all here with your comments. Thank you all so much for visiting me and I hope you get something of what I was trying to convey.
