#RRBC 2018 WC&BE SPONSORS BLOG HOP! Featuring Verwayne Greenhoe

I’d like to introduce you to Verwayne Greenhoe Author #RRBC

“Writing everyday to escape the world but yet giving the world my stories”

I Remember Judy by Verwayne Greenhoe

Blurb:

A husband writes about his romance, marriage, honeymoon, and life with the woman of his dreams. Tender moments of love and intimacy build a strong relationship that can not be torn apart by her history of sexual abuse as a child, her slow decline into dementia and Alzheimer’s. Written by the author of the February 2018 Rave Review Book Club ‘Book of the Month’ selection, “The Totally Unnecessary Death of Amanda Dawn,” the reader gets to feel some of the joy, the love, the intimacy, the happiness, the pain, regret, and the sadness of this relationship over the course of forty plus years. From the shyness to the sadness, the author reveals it all. When his wife could no longer remember it, Verwayne Greenhoe remembers for her in “I Remember Judy – A Love Story. ”

About Shirley Harris-Slaughter

I love old buildings and history. That's why I ended up writing about the history that surrounded me all of my life - "Our Lady of Victory, the Saga of an African-American Catholic Community." Plus our church had closed and the school is torn down, so I felt it was imperative that we preserve the history or it would be lost forever.

Just as a side note to this kind post, the Audible version of this book will be released sometime mid to late May 2019. It will be a bit over nine hours long. Unlike Amazon pricing, I have no control over the pricing.

The audio is being given to me as it is being completed and I believe it to be one of my very best Audible books yet. I think this one will be number seven on Audible, but I have two more in progress at this point.

      Thanks again!

  6. Hi, Verwayne, I just finished reading another of your books, the tribute to your father. You didn’t talk much about your wife in that book, so, this is it?! I now understand!. Thank you, Shirley, for hosting him.

    • Verwayne Greenhoe says:

Yes ma’am. The book about my Father waa written in 2011 while my wife was still alive. My Dad always loved my wife, leading my family to joke that he loved her more than he loved me.

Dad was a wonderful man with a huge heart. He taught by example, using an Aesop’s fable method. I listened to him tell a ten minute story to hear him tell me, “I told you that so you could understand this.”

He was loved by the entire community.
      Thank you.

Thank you, Wendy and everyone else here. Things are still a little tough due to my pancreatic cancer rearing its ugly head again, but they have it on the run. In the meantime, I just keep on keepin’ on.
