This is too funny so I had to share it to help us get past the drama unfolding against our democracy.

Because 2020 has exited stage left, I won’t bring it into this discussion, but I must say, that after the siege on our democracy last Wednesday (January 6), it’s been a struggle for me to remain in my “peaceful” place that I promised to whole-heartedly give to 2021.  

A dear friend of mine who knows that I love to laugh, sent me this little funny that she found floating around Facebook.  And even though Christmas has gone, it still left me with tears in my eyes – because it was just that hilarious!

We all need this laugh…

Those of you who are placing Christmas lights/decorations in your yards, would you please avoid anything that has Red or Blue flashing lights together? Every time I come around the corner, I think it’s the police and I have a panic attack. I have to brake hard, put on my seat belt…

I love old buildings and history. That's why I ended up writing about the history that surrounded me all of my life - "Our Lady of Victory, the Saga of an African-American Catholic Community." Plus our church had closed and the school is torn down, so I felt it was imperative that we preserve the history or it would be lost forever.
